Hyundai Motor UK’s 2023 Annual Retailer Awards have once again celebrated exemplary performance across its 165-strong UK Retailer network, with Read Motor Group taking the honours as both Retailer Group of the Year and Customer Retailer Group of the Year, while the Overall Retailer crown went to Paul Rigby Hyundai Bromsgrove.
Richmond Motor Group celebrated success with the sales retailer group award, while Sales Retailer of the Year went to Cannon Motors Hyundai. Ancaster Group was named Progress Retailer Group of the Year, with the progress retailer award won by Lings Hyundai. Customer Retailer of the Year went to C R Morrow Hyundai, Marshall Motor Group celebrated a successive victory as Aftersales Retailer Group of the Year and Aftersales Retailer of the Year went to Milton Keynes Hyundai.
Each of the Retailers were assessed throughout 2023, using Hyundai UK’s Balanced Scorecard, a system which assesses and evaluates five key areas: New Car Sales, Aftersales Performance, Customer Experience, Retailer Profitability and Future Mobility.

Hyundai Motor UK sales grew 8.3% year-on-year during 2023, continuing an upwards sales trend that saw 2022 sales also up 15.3% over the same period. Overall, Hyundai Motor UK sold 87,100 vehicles last year, with TUCSON leading the surge, as both the best-selling Hyundai model and the 2nd best-selling hybrid in the UK.

This makes Hyundai one of the leading manufacturers in terms of fleet share as well as total sales of zero-tailpipe-emission vehicles in Europe, as the company transitions to becoming a Smart Mobility Solutions Provider.
